Privacy Policy

Last updated 20 August 2026 · BlackShel LLC, United States

This policy explains what personal information BlackShel LLC collects, why, and what you can do about it. It covers this website and the products sold through it.

1. Personal information we collect

We collect very little, because delivering a download does not require much. Using the categories set out in the California Consumer Privacy Act:

CategoryWhat that means hereWhy
IdentifiersYour email address, taken from checkout. A one-way hashed form of your IP address, recorded when you download. To deliver the product, to let you download it again, and to detect a single link being shared widely.
Commercial informationWhich product you bought, the amount, the date, and an order reference. To provide access, handle support and refunds, and meet tax record-keeping requirements.
Internet activityAggregate page views. If you arrived from a tagged link, a short code identifying which post sent you.To understand which content brings people here.
Customer correspondenceEmails you send support, and our replies. To answer you and keep a record of what was agreed.

We do not collect sensitive personal information as that term is defined under US state privacy laws. No biometric data, no precise geolocation, and nothing about your race, religion, health, sexual orientation or union membership.

We never see your payment card details. Payment is handled entirely by our checkout provider, which acts as merchant of record. Card numbers do not reach our servers at any point.

2. About the hashed IP address

When a download link is used, we store a salted one-way hash of the requesting IP address — never the address itself. The hash lets us count how many distinct people used a single download link, which is how we detect a link being passed around. It cannot be reversed to recover an IP address, and it is not used to identify you or track you anywhere else.

3. Where it comes from

Directly from you, when you buy or email us; and automatically from your browser when you visit, in the limited form described above.

4. How we use it

We do not use your information for advertising, for profiling, or for automated decisions that produce legal effects.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We never have. There is no "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link on this site because there is nothing to opt out of.

We use a small number of service providers, each performing one function on our behalf under contract:

We may also disclose information where required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect our legal rights; and to a successor entity in connection with a sale or transfer of the business.

6. Cookies and analytics

We run no advertising trackers and no cross-site tracking. Analytics on this site are cookieless: they record page views in aggregate without storing personal data and without following you to other websites. Because we do not track across sites, Global Privacy Control signals have nothing to act on here — there is no sale or sharing for them to stop.

7. How long we keep it

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have some or all of the following rights. We honor these requests from everyone, regardless of state, because it is simpler and fairer than checking your address first.

These rights are provided under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, and under comparable laws in Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana and other states as they take effect.

9. How to make a request

Email support@blackshel.com from the address you bought with, or tell us which address you used. We will confirm receipt and respond within 45 days, and will tell you if we need a further 45 days.

An authorized agent may make a request on your behalf with written permission, which we may ask to verify with you directly.

One consequence worth knowing: if we delete your purchase record, your download access goes with it. We cannot keep one without the other.

10. Children

This site is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13, and our products are sold only to adults. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

11. If you are in the EEA or the United Kingdom

We are a US business, so if you buy from Europe your information is processed in the United States. Where we handle EEA or UK personal data, those transfers rely on the Standard Contractual Clauses and the equivalent safeguards our providers maintain.

For that data BlackShel LLC is the controller. Our legal bases are performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in preventing fraud and protecting the product, and legal obligation for tax records. In addition to the rights in Section 8, you may restrict or object to processing based on legitimate interests, and you may complain to your national supervisory authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

12. Security

Purchase data sits in a database closed by default: the key published in this website's code can read nothing, and only server-side functions can reach records. Product files are stored privately and served through short-lived signed links rather than public URLs. No system is perfectly secure, but we do not store what we do not need — which is why we hold no card details and no raw IP addresses.

13. Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page.
